Transportation Update: A fire alarm was activated at Metz Middle School during dismissal. The Fire Department responded swiftly and determined it was a false alarm. Due to the delayed departure from Metz, buses may experience slight delays at other schools and stops. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

The Book Fair is Coming Soon! Students will be able to look at and buy books in the Baldwin Library from November 18th to 22nd, 2024. Family night is Tuesday, November 19th, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
This year, we will also have an online book fair. You can order online from October 29 to November 22, 2024.

MCPS has a Gifted and Talented program that provides extra enrichment and challenge to creative or advanced thinkers. 3rd and 4th grade students miss either math, science, or social studies to attend their GT class for 90 minutes per week, and they must make up all work missed in their regular classes. If the form is completed by Friday, September 20, the student may be tested for GT this fall, with the possibility of starting GT services in January 2025.
