At the March 10, 2026 Regular Business Meeting, the School Board approved a revision to the 2025–2026 school calendar due to a special election scheduled in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
As a result, the following adjustments will take place:
• Monday, April 20, 2026, will now be a regular instructional day for students and staff.
• Tuesday, April 21, 2026, will be a professional day for staff, and schools will be closed for students.
This adjustment reflects the scheduled election and the use of school facilities as polling locations.
Please take note of this update as you plan for April.

All Manassas City Public Schools and offices will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday, February 23, 2026, due to possible inclement weather conditions. There will be no Pre-K classes. AlphaBEST will open at 8:30 a.m. We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will share any additional updates with families and staff if needed.
