During October, Osbourn High School senior government students participated in a two-day forum, engaging with candidates running for local, state, and national offices. These student-led discussions highlighted the importance of civic participation and community involvement, allowing students to ask questions and deepen their understanding of the election process. Both assemblies were moderated by Osbourn senior Thomas Roberts, with questions covering various topics—from MCPS school policies for local candidates to economic issues for national candidates. Thank you to the students, teachers, and candidates for participating in this enriching learning experience.
