PowerSchool Mobile App

MCPS' student information system, PowerSchool, provides a mobile app that gives parents and students the ability to access real-time information on grades, attendance, assignments, scores, email alerts, and much more. It is an easy-to-use application with an easy to understand interface. The PowerSchool Mobile app is available as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play markets. 

If you have established an account in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, you can use the same login and password with the mobile app. If you need to establish an account, you will need your Parent Portal web access ID and password. You can obtain this by visiting your child's school and asking the school registrar for the Parent Web ID letter. Students can also use this app, but they will need their login and password to access the information. Students should visit their school’s office to obtain an ID and password.

Getting Into the App

First you will enter your parent web ID and password. Next, the app will require a district code and the MCPS' code is HGHH. After logging in successfully, the app will present a landing page called a "dashboard." The dashboard displays the student's schedule as the default screen after logging in. Parents and students can obtain detailed information for grades, assignments, attendance and more.
