Physicals are due by the day of tryouts. No exceptions will be made.

In order to be eligible to participate in athletics at Metz Middle School, you must be in good standing with the school and have a current physical on file. You must have a physical that is dated on or after May 1, 2023, to be able to try out and participate for any team at Metz for this school year. Student physicals MUST be on file on the first day of tryouts. Students without a physical on file will not be eligible for tryouts and will be sent home.

Tryouts for Football, Cheerleading, Boys Soccer, Girls Track and Volleyball start on August 28, from 2:45-5 p.m. and you must have a completed VHSL physical on file in order to begin tryouts.  

Please email your child's completed physical to the Athletic Director, Ms. Douglas, at Email Ms. Douglas or turn in a copy (do not send the original) to the front office prior to the day of tryouts. The physicals will be filed and stored with Ms. Douglas
