Dual Enrollment Program by Northern Virginia Community College
Dual enrollment courses allow eligible high school students to earn credit toward their high school diploma while also earning college credits. Dual enrollment courses are taught at the high school by a licensed teacher who has been credentialed by Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). High school juniors and seniors, who meet the established criteria of NOVA, are eligible to participate in the dual enrollment courses. In addition to providing challenging coursework and eliminating students taking duplicate courses in high school and in college, dual enrollment courses may lower the cost of a two- or four-year college education. The cost for the dual enrolment course is paid for by Manassas City.
