The mission of Manassas City Public Schools (MCPS) data analysis and reporting is to promote the effective and efficient use of student enrollment and performance data. This ensures compliance with state and federal reporting requirements while offering data analytics support to assist schools and central office departments in analyzing student outcomes and driving continuous improvement.

Data analysis & reporting oversees and supports the following:

• Compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, including Student Record Collections, Discipline Collection, Standards of Quality Compliance, and Civil Rights Data Collection.

• Providing assistance to schools and departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.

• Developing aggregate data reports and visualizations to help analyze performance outcomes and trends among student groups.

• Offering training and support to school and central office administrators in accessing and analyzing data to aid continuous improvement efforts.
