Osbourn CTE Students are State Champions
May 4, 2018...Osbourn High School students won in three categories at the 2018 Virginia SkillsUSA Competition held in Virginia Beach April 20-21, 2018.
Criminal Justice students Maria Pineda, Isela Ramirez-Amaya, and Leonardo Solis won Gold in Crime Scene Investigation. Cosmetology students Dania Lopez with her model Dania Gonzalez won Gold in Esthetics and Ty Ford won the Gold in Barbering. The state champions will move on to national competitions, which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky June 25-29,2018.
Additionally, cosmetology students Andrea Valenzi placed 5th in Action Skills (Leadership) competition and Yanci Salvatierra-Llanes placed in the top 10 out of 38 competitors. Congratulations to all competitors!
