Parent Access to Schoology and PowerSchool

Schoology Parent Access:

You can retrieve your Schoology parent access code by logging into PowerSchool. 

Schoology Parent Access Instructions
[For the First Time]

  • Log in to MCPS PowerSchool.
  • Select Student Credentials to get your access code. Each child will have his or her own access code.
  • Visit www.schoology.com and sign up for a parent account.
  • Enter your Schoology Parent Access Code. It should look similar to this: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
  • Fill out the form with your information.  Click Register to complete.

 

If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Account please contact the Osbourn main office to request your PowerSchool Parent Access letter. A Schoology access letter can also be provided by request by contacting the Osbourn main office.

*Student schoology access is linked to their MCPS Google account. The student logs into Schoology using the same username and password that they use to log into their computer. 

 

PowerSchool Parent Access: 

Click here for information about accessing your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Steps are provided for account creation and login.

To create an account, you will need your "Access ID" and "Access Password". If you do not have your access ID or Access Password please contact Osbourn's main office to request them. Access information cannot be given over the phone, but it can be provided to an email address on file in PowerSchool. If a current email is unavailable, parents can come in person to the Osbourn main office for a hard copy as well as support in creating their account. Please bring identification when you come to pick up you parent access information. 

*Student's also have access to a PowerSchool account. If they are not sure of their account information they can contact their counselor or the OHS main office for a student access letter.
