Osbourn High School Students Participate in Chick-fil-A Leader Academy
September 21, 2017...Osbourn High School students participated in the kick-off event for Chick-fil-A's national Leader Academy this week.
Osbourn leadership/business teacher Robin Albrecht applied for the school year-long program, and a total of seventy students from two leadership classes at OHS were accepted to participate. The academy at OHS was funded through a grant fulfilled by the local Signal Hill/Liberia Avenue Chick-fil-A location and its owner George Snyder.
At the kick-off event, students participated in engaging activititeis and the sharing of empowering information about leaership via video labs by Chick-fil-A leaders across the nation. Students also prepared a shipment of meals to help feed approximately 200 children and their families throughout the world.
