OHS Students Participate in Nat'l 'Youth Salute' Leadership Program
December 14, 2017...Congratulations to Osbourn High School students Jonathan Peters, Elizabeth Campbell, Emma Boaz, and Ever Hernandez Morales. The four students participated in this year's National Council on Youth Leadership (NCYL) Youth Salute program, and were chosen as semi-finalists at the local level to attend the Town Meeting on Tomorrow in St. Louis. The three-day event brings youth leaders together from across the nation, and was held October 21 - 24, 2017 on the campus of Washington University.
Each year, Osbourn High School participates in the NCYL program. This year's participating students were recognized for the achievement at the December 12th School Board meeting. Youth Salute is a national program created to recognize youth leaders and their achievements. High school juniors with a 3.0 GPA or above and who are involved in several or many activities in their school and community are eligible for the program.
