Hello! My name is Mrs. Jennings, and this is my first year at Manassas City Public Schools (MCPS). I serve four schools within the city: Mayfield and Baldwin Intermediate Schools and Round and Baldwin Elementary Schools.

I am originally from southern Virginia. I moved to the area to finish my bachelor’s degree in social work at George Mason University. I continued my education at George Mason University and received my master’s in clinical social work. Later, I obtained my Virginia State Board of Social Work license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Throughout my schooling and licensure process, I worked many years at Prince William County Community Services and a year as a Transition Specialist for Prince William County Schools.

I love spending time with my husband, two boys, and Willow Grace, the family’s dog. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with a local advocacy organization, hanging out with friends and family, and watching crime, thrillers, mystery, and horror films.

I look forward to working with you and your students!

School Social Worker integrates education and social work training, knowledge, and skills in curriculum, learning styles, family dynamics, mental health, and behavior management and applies it to children experiencing academic and behavioral difficulties.
