Hello!  I am a 5th Grade Language Arts & Social Studies teacher on the GMU Campus here at Mayfield.  Before becoming a Bobcat, I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 10 years at Jennie Dean Elementary.  I am originally from Pennsylvania, and was an after school and summer program coordinator for a non-profit before making the move to Virginia to teach.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 in 2012 from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  Currently, I am enrolled in the UVA Reading Education master's program.  I am set to complete the program in 2025.  I am excited for a great year of learning, and to share my love of literacy with my students!
