Hi!  My name is Amy Keen.  I will be teaching 3^rd grade this school year. I have an Elementary Education degree from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. This is my 29th year teaching elementary school. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. I began my teaching career at Jennie Dean Elementary School as a 1st-grade teacher in 1995, and taught in the city for 11 years. I then taught in Fauquier County for 9 years when my boys were younger.  I returned to Manassas City Schools in 2015, and am over the moon about it. I grew up in Manassas City, so the city is home to me. I attended Haydon Elementary, Jennie Dean Middle School, and graduated from Osbourn High School in 1990.  

This will be my first-year teaching at Haydon Elementary. I am very excited to work with the Haydon community.     

We will learn many exciting things this year.  We will travel the world and explore different civilizations. We will work hard and have fun learning, exploring, and gaining knowledge.
