Welcome families!

This is my first year teaching at Weems Elementary School. Over the past month, I have worked to become familiar with your community, appreciating every culture which Manassas hosts. I am honored to contribute to your child's learning and your community. 

I was born in Miami, Florida, and completed all of my schooling in the South Florida area. The passion for teaching is drawn from my youth when I volunteered for two summers (2009-2010) with family to help deliver math, science and reading lessons to students in the rural areas of Boyacá, Colombia. This experience led to developing a career in elementary education.

This will be my 7th year as a public educator after achieving 6 years of professional experience in Palm Beach County (2016-2022). Each year, maintaining a classroom that respects each child's self and their goals is a priority. This year is no different. Throughout the year, if there are any issues, do not hesitate to reach out.
