I have been in Education for 33 years.  I have experience as a classroom teacher, an ESOL teacher, a Reading Interventionist and a Literacy Coach.  I have taught in several districts in Virginia, including Fairfax County, Arlington County, The Islamic Saudi Academy.  I began my teaching career in El Paso, Texas.  

I have worked at Haydon Elementary, Jennie Dean Elementary, Weems Elementary and now Round Elementary.  I am excited to be here and be a part of the Round Raccoons Family.  

I live in Woodbridge with my husband of 27 years. We have 3 adult children.  I love to read, go hiking or walking, and travel when the opportunity presents itself.
