Hello Families, my name is Monika Rooney and I am one of the Haydon Kindergarten Teachers. I joined Haydon in February of 2022 as a Kindergarten teacher. This will be my first full year of teaching, as last year I joined the team in the last semester of school. I am originally from Poland, and moved to the United States in 2012 as an international student. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and reading books. I am a mom of two boys, one of whom is a rising Kindergarten this year. I received my B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University, and I my M.A in Elementary Education Pre-K to 6, also from Liberty University. I am very excited to be your child’s teacher and help them discover their strengths and use them to succeed.
