Dr. Meredith McCool
Dr. McCool has been an educator for 18 years. She has worked as an environmental educator, intermediate classroom teacher, and college professor. When she's not in the classroom, you can find Dr. McCool reading, road tripping, or hiking with her miniature poodle, O. Henry.
Dr. McCool's *why* for teaching is to provide learning opportunities that prepare students for their lives today and their lives tomorrow. Her hope for students this school year is that they will open themselves to new experiences, take risks, and grow as learners and human beings.
"I believe that education is a process of living and not a preparation for future living."
~John Dewey, My Pedagogic Creed
