Hello, my name is Rachell Cordon. . I am truly excited and blessed to be a part of this community. I began my career in the education field as a substitute and an Instructional Assistant. I pursued my Bachelor’s Degree in English and my Master’s in Education at the University of Phoenix. I have taught K-3 for the past 7 years, and middle and high school for 1 year. I must say that while I love working with children in general, the little ones tug at my heart undeniably. I was born and raised on a small island in the Caribbean, Barbados. I am married with three children and two grandchildren. Coming from another country, I understand the importance of pursuing an education and making a better life for oneself and family. I believe that education is one of the keys to success and learning never stops. I want to instill in my students that they can become anything their heart desires; the sky is the limit and to reach for the stars, but no matter what, believe in themselves. I look forward to being a part of their success story.

Hola, me llamo Rachell Cordon.Estoy verdaderamente entusiasmada y bendecida por formar parte de esta comunidad. Comencé mi carrera en el campo de educación como maestra sustituta y asistente de instrucción. Obtuve mi licenciatura en inglés y mi maestría en educación en la Universidad de Phoenix. Tengo los 7 años pasados enseñando kínder a 3ero y 1 año enseñando la escuela intermedia y secundaria. Tengo que decir que, mientras que me encanta trabajar con niños en general, innegablemente llevo en mi corazón los pequeños. Nací y crecí en una isla pequeña en el Caribe, Barbados. Estoy casada y tengo tres hijos y dos nietos. Al venir de otro país, entiendo la importancia de perseguir una educación y crear una mejor vida para sí mismo y para su familia. Creo que la educación es una de las claves de éxito y que el aprender nunca se detiene. Quiero inculcar en mis estudiantes que pueden convertirse en cualquier cosa que desean; el cielo es el límite y que traten de alcanzar las estrellas, pero que, a pesar de todo, crean en sí mismos. Estoy ansiosa por formar parte de su historia de éxito.
