Mr. Benjamin Henigin

Mr. Henigin is a Guitar and Music Technology teacher at Metz Middle School. Mr. Henigin graduated in August of 2020 from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a professional focus in Music Education. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, Mr. Henigin enjoys several outdoor activities, especially fishing and hiking throughout the Appalachian Mountains, as well as watching his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams. Mr. Henigin has performed with various groups  across the Country including at George Mason University for the U.S. Navy Saxophone Symposium, Fairfax VA. Also at the National American Saxophone Alliance Conference at the University of Pittsburgh. His primary instrument is the saxophone. During Pennsylvania’s Stay-At-Home Order in Spring of 2020, Mr. Henigin conducted professional research into how a global pandemic may affect music consumption. Over 250 people participated in this endeavour from all across the United States. Mr. Henigin loves his job at Grace E. Metz Middle School and is very excited for the year ahead!
