It is a great feeling to be part of the Special Education Team at Baldwin Elementary School. I look forward to teaching our third and fourth graders. I was born, raised, and educated in Northern Virginia. I am a Veteran of the United States Navy who has traveled overseas frequently. Also, I love learning and have over eighteen years of experience working in the public education field. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher, Instructional Assistant, Job Coach, and Behavior Technician in both Prince William County Schools and Sarasota County Schools in Florida. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, and observing the change of seasons. Other things that make me smile are a good book, animals (especially frogs), robots, and/or a funny joke.

My passion has always been to work with students of all ages and talents. It is rewarding to see kids exploring, having fun, showing empathy towards others, working hard, being trustworthy, and respectful, and finding a love for learning. Kids make me laugh with the little things they do and say as they learn and grow. That’s what makes me want to continue teaching. We are going to learn so many great things this year, and I am looking forward to every minute of it. Let's Go Rockets!
