¡Hola!

¡Mi nombre es Jocelyn Redding y soy la Psicóloga Escolar de la Escuela Round! 

Estoy muy emocionada de conocerlos a todos y ver sus caras sonrientes. Originalmente soy de St. Louis, Missouri, pero me encantó tanto estar en la Costa del Este del país que decidí quedarme aquí después de la universidad. Además de trabajar con estudiantes, ¡también me encanta bailar, cantar, jugar voleibol, hornear y ver películas de superhéroes! 

Como su Psicóloga Escolar, estoy aquí para apoyar a los estudiantes, maestros y padres. Ayudo a los maestros a planificar o aplicar intervenciones académicas y de conducta para sus estudiantes. Trabajo directamente con algunos estudiantes para asegurarme de que puedan aprender tanto como sea posible y se sientan cómodos en el aula.  También puedo brindar apoyo a los consejeros escolares mediante lecciones de clase o asesoramiento individual o en grupo. Por último, formo parte de los equipos de Intervención y Educación Especial (junto con los padres, el maestro y el subdirector), para ayudar a tomar las mejores decisiones académicas y socioemocionales para nuestros estudiantes.

Hello!

My name is Jocelyn Redding and I am Round's School Psychologist! 

I am so excited to meet all of you and see your smiling faces. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but I loved being on the East Coast so much that I decided to stay here after college. Besides working with students, I also love to dance, sing, play volleyball, bake, and watch superhero movies! 

As your School Psychologist, I am here to support students, teachers, and parents. I help teachers plan or apply academic and behavioral interventions for their students. I work directly with some students to make sure they can learn as much as possible and feel comfortable in the classroom. I also can provide support to School Counselors by leading class lessons or individual/group counseling. Lastly, I am a part of Intervention and Special Education teams (along with parents, the teacher, and the assistant principal), to help make the best academic and social-emotional decisions for our students.
