Greetings Haydon Family! My name is Silvia Shriver; I teach English as a second Language (ESL) to 1st grade. I was born in Guatemala but raised in Brooklyn, New York. This will be my fourth year teaching ESL. I enjoy working with students from all over the world. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language in Spanish with a minor in Psychology from George Mason University. I am currently working on my Masters of education in Curriculum and Instructional with a Concentration on Teaching Culturally Linguistically Diverse and Exceptional Learners (Int'l ESOL/ESL Teacher Education PK-12) at George Mason University.

¡Saludos, Familia de Haydon! Mi nombre es Silvia Shriver; Enseño inglés como segundo idioma (ESL) a los estudiantes de primer grado. Nací en Guatemala, pero crecí en Brooklyn, Nueva York. Este es mi cuarto año de enseñanza de ESL. Disfruto trabajar con estudiantes de todo el mundo. Obtuve una Licenciatura en la universidad George Mason en Idiomas Extranjeros en Español con especialización en Psicología. Actualmente estoy trabajando en mi Maestría en educación en Currículo e Instrucción con una Concentración en la Enseñanza de Estudiantes Excepcionales y Culturalmente Lingüísticamente Diversos (Int'l ESOL/ESL Teacher Education PK-12) en la Universidad George Mason.
