I am excited for working at Mayfield Intermediate School as an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Teacher.  I enjoy learning about the diverse backgrounds of all my students.  They each have their own unique experiences, strengths, and ideas they bring into the classroom.  I am passionate about teaching English to all my students and take great satisfaction from seeing them learn and improve their English skills.  I have always worked with English Language Learners in my different roles in education.  I have served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, and administrator.  I’m looking forward to a great year working with my students, their parents, my colleagues, my administrators, and my district.
