Welcome to the Career and Technical Education Department
“Career Technical Education (CTE) at Metz MS is designed to prepare middle school students to explore the realm of possibilities for their future careers. The purpose of STEM is to demonstrate the many ways that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics intersect and open students minds to the many fields where STEM is employed. Digital citizenship refers to responsible technology usage and helping students achieve and understand digital literacy, as well as ensuring cyberbullying prevention, online safety, digital responsibility, and digital health and wellness – tools they will employ in any career they choose. College and Career Readiness helps to focus students on the next steps in their education journey to ensure high school, and possibly college, align to ease them into the career field of their choice.”
