The 2019-2020 school year is my second year at Baldwin and I am very excited to be returning to Team Baldwin! Teaching special education students in kindergarten and 1st grade this past year was extremely rewarding. I have a wonderful team of teachers to work with and together we were able to make huge progress with our students! In the past 30 years I have worked one year in Culpeper County Schools as a SPED teacher at the elementary level, and then 18 years as a full time SPED teacher with Prince William County Schools in both elementary and middle school levels. While my three grown children were in middle school, I was working as a substitute teacher in PWCS as well as other jobs that allowed me to spend more time at home with them.
I became a Mimi in 2018, and this past summer my granddaughter was the flower girl in my youngest daughter's wedding! Her daddy, my son Ethan, works as a music therapist for a hospice and graduated from Shenandoah University in 2014. My middle daughter, Abby, finished her master's degree in May at Liberty University, and my youngest daughter, Emma, and her husband will graduate from Liberty in December. As we begin this school year I am looking forward to another fantastic year of learning and growth from all of my amazing students!
