    • Yearbook
      • Students will work with our yearbook coordinator, Ms. Kirkland, to support the creation of this year's yearbook

      • Ms. Jones will be taking our 6th-grade students over to Osbourn HS's fields to teach skills and host scrimmage practices with students

    • COPS
      • Students will experience what it looks like to be an officer investigating crimes like fingerprinting and creating footprint molds with our school resource officer, Mr. Jones.

      • Ms. Kirkland and high school volunteers will be teaching our students the basics of chess. Students will get opportunities to practice using their new skills.

    • Spelling Bee
      • Preparation for the annual spelling bee. Hang out after school for supported practice to get ready for the big day.

    • Upstanders
      • student leadership initiative of Sandy Hook Promise. Led by our Youth Advisory Board, the aim is to empower student leaders to take an active role in increasing school safety and preventing different forms of violence in schools and communities.

    • Reader's Theater
      • Engaging students in language arts through readers theaters and other opportunities

    • Dance Team
      • Dancing helps children develop body control, improve coordination, balance, reflexes and spatial control, while developing psychomotor skills, harmony and concentration.

      • Students will learn basketball skills. Students will be able to play different basketball games. (3v3, knock out, 21, 5v5, etc)
