Mr. David Frederick
I am in my second year of teaching cybersecurity, programming and electronics within the CTE department at Osbourn high school. After working as an electrical engineer for IBM/Lockheed Martin for 30 years, I started my second career as a technology teacher. I have mentored the OHS Robotics Club for 11 years where I enjoy teaching students about core technologies.
I graduated in 1983 from the University of South Carolina. I have worked on commercial satellite communication systems, military communication systems, Navy helicopter mission systems, and Department of Defense information systems. I greatly enjoy system engineering, system integration & test and cybersecurity.
My goal is to teach students about technology to support their career choice.
