Talents and Gifts (TAG) is an enrichment cluster elective built from the Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM). Enrichment Clusters are designed to enhance our student’s learning experience and talent development by utilizing their strengths and interests. Personalized interest inventories are administered and 30 multi-grade level TAG clusters are formed according to student areas of interest. Students are encouraged to participate in activity-based learning environments that focus on higher order thinking skills.
TAG takes place during scheduled enrichment time and clusters meet every Wednesday from 2:15-3:30 p.m. Each cycle of TAG runs for 12 weeks and our students are given the opportunity to choose their own enrichment cluster. Students participate in three types of enrichment throughout each 12 week cluster cycle.
