Hello,

I am Dana Slaughter, and I teach 4th grade at Weems Elementary. I am originally from Gainesville, Florida. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Saint Leo University with endorsements in Reading and ESOL. I have recently earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida.

I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have previously taught in 2nd, 5th, and 6th-8th grades but have spent most of my career teaching 4th grade. I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade again.

I am looking forward to this first year as a Manassas City educator.
