    3. Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program

Participate in the Barnes and Noble Summer Reading program.  It is fun and easy!  Students read books – library books, books borrowed from friends or books bought at Barnes & Noble – write about their favorite part in our Reading Journal, and bring a completed Reading Journal to a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Children then choose their free book from the books listed on the Reading Journal and collect their free book from a store near them during July and August. Download one of the journals linked below.

This summer, all  kids in grades 1-6 can earn a FREE book through the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program. Read any eight books and record them in your Summer Reading Journal (see links below). When you're done, bring it to a Barnes & Noble store and choose your free book!
