    Course Registration/Selection Information for the 2022-23 School Year    

    Rising 9th Grade Course Registration Information:

    • To prepare our rising 9th grade students from Metz MS, the OHS Counseling Staff will be providing opportunities for parents and students to find out important information about the transition to Osbourn HS.
      • February 2- Rising 9th Grade Parent/Student Course Registration Presentation 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the OHS Auditorium. Presented by OHS School Counseling Staff 
      • March 8th and 9th – Course Registration Presentation through 8th grade English classes – presented by OHS School Counselors 

    Current 9th-11th Grade OHS Student Course Registration Information:

    • Teacher Discussions with Students for Course Recommendations for the 2022-23 School Year:
      • Between January 21st and February 8th teachers will be discussing possible course options and recommendations with their students through their classes. Teachers will also be entering course recommendations through Power School.

    Course Registration Orientations 2022-23 through English Classes:

    • January 27th and 28th  - 11th grade presentations through English 11 classes
    • February 1st and 2nd     - 9th grade presentations through English 9 classes
    • February 3rd and 4th    -10th grade presentations through English 10 classes

    Counselor/Student Meetings to Select/Confirm Courses:

    • Between February 14th and March 23rd, students will have one on one meetings with their assigned counselor to review and confirm and select their courses for the 2022-23 school year.  
      • Current 9th Grade students will meet during PE 9 classes from March 10-18
      • Current 10th Grade students will meet during PE 10 classes from February 28- March 7
      • Current 11th Grade students will meet during US History classes  from February 14 - February 23         

    All of these events/programs are designed to assist students and parents in making informed decisions about your course selections for next year and beyond.  Please take advantage of these resources/opportunities.
