At the elementary level, MCPS utilizes PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) to help students to learn the behavior expectations for various areas of our school. School-wide expectations are taught to improve the school climate and promote a positive atmosphere for learning. Our students strive to be role models by demonstrating the three rules below. All teachers have a classroom behavior chart where students begin their day on green and can clip up to pink to become a role model! Students have the opportunity to earn prizes and be recognized throughout the school year for exhibiting positive behavior!
