  • Dr. Newman's Update Regarding Closure for Remainder of Year

    March 23, 2020

MCPS Family, As you are now aware, Governor Ralph Northam has announced that Virginia schools will be closed for the remainder of this school year due to the impact of the coronavirus. Within 24 hours, the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) will be providing school divisions guidance on expectations for continued teaching and learning, graduation requirements for the class of 2020, and the issuing of standard and verified credits.  We will share that information with you tomorrow.
