Dr. Pam Moody - Co-Interim Principal

Welcome, Dr. Pam Moody! Acting Principal for 2021-2022 School Year.

Dr. Pam Moody will serve as the interim principal until the end of the school year. Dr. Moody, a Virginia native, worked with Prince William County Schools from 1982-2016. Most recently, she served as the principal of Sudley Elementary School for 17 years. She earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech in 2013. Dr. Moody and I have been colleagues for over 10 years, and I can attest to her strong reputation in school leadership. I have no doubt you all will enjoy working with her for the remainder of the school year.

Mrs. Anita Flemons - Co-Interim Principal

Welcome, Mrs. Flemons to Jennie Dean Elementary School.

Mrs. Anita Flemons feels honored to bring her skills and past experiences as acting Principal to Jeannie Dean Elementary.  Her goal is to work collaboratively with the staff to achieve more for our students.   Mrs. Flemons’ passion for education started over 25 years ago.  Her experiences as a  Classroom Teacher, Reading Specialist,  Staff Developer, Assistant Principal, and Principal have given her a global perspective on the needs of students and staff.  She is a strong advocate for students and teachers.   While Mrs. Flemons is only on campus two days per week she is 100% dedicated to the mission of our school.   Her presence is already making a difference at Jennie Dean!

Mr. Eric Mauck - Assistant Principal

Eric Mauck comes to Jennie Dean Elementary after having served as an Assistant Principal at Metz Middle School from 2017-2020. Prior to working as an Assistant Principal, Mr. Mauck began his teaching career in 2001 at Haydon Elementary. He then moved to Metz where he initially taught sixth grade English, Social Studies, and Math. Additionally, he taught multiple levels of seventh and eighth grade Math over the next thirteen years. He also served as the Athletic and Activities Director, Child Study Chair, and Math Interventionist within the Metz school community. Mr. Mauck is a product of the Manassas City Public Schools system where he attended Haydon Elementary School, Metz Middle School, and graduated from Osbourn High School. He received his Bachelor Degree from Bridgewater College and his Master Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Arkansas State University. As Assistant Principal at Jennie Dean, Mr. Mauck looks forward to working with and supporting all students, families, and staff in their various educational experiences.
