Hello Wildcats!

I am thrilled to be serving as the Assistant Principal of Weems Elementary.  I began my teaching career in Fairfax County Public Schools where I taught for 10 years.  During that time I taught science and special education classes. I have loved working with the children of Manassas City as an assistant principal for the past seven years.  In preparation to teaching and leading instruction, I received my Master’s degree in Special Education from George Washington University and my Specialist in Administration and Supervision degree from the University of Virginia.  I am passionate about providing supports to students to remediate and accelerate their individual achievements. I am looking forward to continuing to work with the Wildcat community.  Know that your child’s learning experience will be my focus each day.
