Student Assistance Program

Student Assistance offers services to help students and their families. Our services include:
- Short-term individual counseling
- Student support groups (not available in all schools)
- Liaison to community resources
- Referral aid, follow-up support and collaboration with community-based mental health service providers
- Faculty/Teaching Team consultation
- Classroom presentations
- Parent conference and consultation
- Disciplinary Appeal Hearings (in accordance with school board policy)
- Screening for substance abuse risk
- Screening for depression
- Drug abuse and mental health information
- Substance abuse education
