Homebound Instruction may be provided for Manassas City Public Schools students who are physically or emotionally unable to attend school as certified by a physician, or in the case of psychological/emotional illness, a psychiatrist or licensed clinical psychologist.

Homebound Instruction will be provided only in the cases which are reimbursable by the state. Any exceptions must be approved by the Superintendent/designee. Homebound Instruction is intended to be temporary in nature and should not be used to replace classroom instruction.
