The fall and winter seasons are a time when school communities experience an increase in viral illnesses, which can lead to disruptions in student health and learning. Influenza (the flu) is a common cause of illness for school-aged children. As a result, MCPS is reminding parents/guardians to take steps to help prevent the spread of contagious illnesses. Additionally, the following information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) will aid in caring for those who become ill.
Pre-K Parent Information Sessions
Manassas City Public Schools will be hosting a series of Pre-K Information Nights for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year program in both English and Spanish. The MCPS Pre-K Parent Perception Survey Is Open - DEADLINE EXTENDED TILL FEBRUARY 18TH
Manassas City Public Schools is committed to partnering with our community to provide our youngest learners with the best possible education. That’s why we’re asking parents of current pre-K students and parents of children who have attended a MCPS preschool in the past three school years to take our Pre-K Parent Perception Survey. NEW - SURVEY IS NOW OPEN UNTIL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH.
Share feedback on the quality of the preschool program, participation in program activities, the likelihood of enrolling your other children in the program, and the possibility of recommending the program to other families. The results will help us identify our pre-K program strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Parents, please check your email for an invitation and survey link, go to http://tiny.cc/preksurvey and enter your child’s six-digit student ID, or pick up a paper survey in the front office of your child’s school. The survey is offered in English and Spanish. All responses are strictly confidential.
For more information about the survey, please contact Sheyma Bautista at 571-377-6527.
