MCPS Update on Virtual Instruction for the 2022-2023 School Year
For the 2022-2023 school year, Manassas City Public Schools will only offer virtual learning (through Virtual Virginia) to eligible students with medical conditions that hinder daily school attendance. The deadline to submit a request for medical consideration is June 30, 2022. Parents who would like to submit a request must inform their child’s school by that date.

Para el año escolar 2022-2023, las Escuelas Públicas de la Ciudad de Manassas ofrecerán clases virtuales únicamente (por medio de Virginia Virtual) a aquellos estudiantes que cumplan los requisitos de condiciones médicas que dificulten la asistencia diaria a la escuela. La fecha límite para entregar una solicitud de consideración médica es el 30 de junio, 2022. Los padres que deseen presentar una petición deben informar a la escuela de su hijo para esa fecha.

Summer Meal Service Program
Manassas City Public Schools is participating in the USDA's Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided for all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals are available Monday –Thursday at each site.
Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Public meals are available at the sites and times as follows:
June 6 - June 30 (Monday - Thursday)
Baldwin Elementary School – 1978 Eagle Way, Manassas, VA 20110
- Breakfast: 9:15-9:45 a.m.
- Lunch: 1:15-1:45 p.m.
Jennie Dean Elementary School – 9601 Prince William Street, Manassas, VA 20110
- Breakfast: 9-9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:45-1:15 p.m.
June 13 – June 30, 2022 (Monday-Thursday)
Metz Middle School – 9950 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA 20110
- Breakfast: 9:15-9:45 a.m.
- Lunch: 1:15-1:45 p.m.
June 6 – July 21, 2022 (Monday-Thursday). No service on Monday, July 4.
Osbourn High School – 1977 Eagle Way, Manassas, VA 20110
- Breakfast: 8:30-9 a.m.
- Lunch: 1-1:30 p.m.
