Hello and welcome to my profile page. I am Mr. Jou, pronounced Joe, and I have been teaching English for five years. This is currently my fifth year at Osbourn. Welcome Freshmen to the wonderful world of Osbourn High School. As you start your journey through high school I will be one of the many guiding forces helping you to become the young adults ready to take on the next step. Journalism I is a yearlong course designed to teach students the basics of journalism and to prepare them for roles on the school newspaper or yearbook staff. The syllabus is posted below. I look forward to exploring all the stories that Osbourn has to offer with you!
